Furthermore, with 36 years of teaching in both the Kingston School System and the New York City Board of Education, she understands how important it is communicate with people and to be responsive to customers concerns and their timetable. Her commitment to this profession continues even after retiring from the public school system - she is an adjunct professor at Marist College in Poughkeepsie, NY and works with undergraduates pursuing careers in education.
