Profile:
Jan, who's originally from Boston, lived in Switzerland and New York City before making her home in the Hudson Valley. She taught high school and was an instructor at the University of Maine, then started a career in marketing research in New York City. After a successful career that spanned a period of over 35 years, she retired in 2003 and became a real estate agent with Win Morrison Realty. In 2007 she became an Associate Broker.

For Jan, real estate is all about the relationship with the client. At a time when people's first resource is often the Internet, and there is so much they can find out on their own, the successful agent or broker has to provide more than just information and transportation. With that in mind, Jan makes every effort to understand your aspirations, your personality and where you are in life right now. She connects with your state of mind and understands how to find you the property that is not only the right value, but that makes you feel comfortable that you've made the right decision.

Jan believes in being involved with the community and is a member of the Business Advisory Council of the SUNY New Paltz School of Business and Chair of the Internship Committee, the Board of Directors of Gateway Community Industries, and the Leadership Council of HOPES Fund (a partnership with United Way of Ulster County).
